The main idea that intrigues me is showing the passage of time, either literally (like aging), based on experience, or how emotions and feelings change - this could be representing emotions in a physical way. My last two pieces have been really colorful and beautiful, and not very conceptual - a lot more about playing with form and trying to learn Photoshop. This time I want to focus less on the software and more on telling a story, and simplifying my images to be less cluttered and more powerful.
Motion or blur effects may be an option. Either way I really like the serenity, drama, and sobering effects of a muted or black and white color scheme.
Double exposure may be a cool way to show emotions:
I also really liked this series by Maggie Steber. Very personal but still powerful and very well done. http://lightbox.time.com/2012/06/11/maggie-steber/
